Abstract	This health curriculum, developed by an elementary school faculty, provides three sets of lesson plans. Lesson plans include lessons taught by the school nurse, resource teachers, and classroom teachers. The topics considered in the lessons taught by the school nurse include hygiene, germs and diseases, safety, nutrition, and drugs. Topics explored in the resource teacher lesson plans include teeth, bones, sound, individual differences, the digestive system, and the circulatory system. Resource teacher lessons also provide interdisciplinary links with physical education and music. The lessons taught by the classroom teacher are separated by grade level. Prekindergarten focuses on the five senses, kindergarten learns about nutrition, first grade focuses on safety, second grade reviews playground safety and dental care, and third grade examines fire safety.
