Abstract	This work begins with a brief history of floral design. While floral art is often anonymously created, functional in purpose, and transient in nature, this document argues for validity of floral design as an art form. The bibliography of 617 works excludes non-design books, while presenting a wide range and variety of recent and past floral art design styles. Books are crosslisted alphabetically by author and alphabetically by category. The categories included are: (D) dried arrangements; (F) funeral designs; (FR) foreign designs; (J) Japanese designs; (V) vase arrangements; (W) wedding flowers; and (WR) wreaths. A list of floral art periodicals also is included. A followup section presents teaching projects and activities which utilize the floral design bibliography as a study tool. The work concludes with brief biography data about the author. (MM)
