Topics covered by the guides include: (1) Congressman Dan Rostenkowski, D-Day, cars and Singapore, Rodney King civil trial, off-road wheelchairs, and North Korea (June 1-3); (2) D-Day Germany and World War II, media guide to "A Century of Women," students and writing, World Cup, investments, D-Day, Patrick Kennedy, religion and the workplace, and media guide to "Amelia Earhart: The Final Flight" (June 6-10); (3) the United States and Haiti, interactive movies, Reed Hundt of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), modern Haitian history, welfare reform, Argentinean Antarctica, North Korea, socially correct investing, troubled youth, and gray whales (June 13-17); (4) O. J. Simpson, school bus safety, racism in the United States, Brazil, South Africa, intolerance in Germany, the United States and North Korea, pneumatic tubes for transmitting documents, media guide to "Gettysburg," and France and Rwanda (June 20-24); and (5) Gay Pride, voice activated computer software, White House staff changes, banking practices, World Cup and Haiti, Haitian refugees, girls and video games, tobacco farmers, space tethers, and baseball jargon (June 27-30).
