Abstract | These two reports summarize the Minnesota State Council on Vocational Technical Education's (SCVTE) activities for the 2-year periods ending on June 30, 1991, and June 30, 1993, respectively. Summarized in the report for the period ending June 30, 1991, are the SCTVE's activities with regard to the following projects: disabilities, funding distribution, apprenticeship, Perkins-Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) evaluation, technology competence, and effective advisory committees. The report for the period ending June 30, 1993, includes summaries of SCTVE activities in relation to the following major projects: education and employment transitions, request for proposal, correctional education, Perkins-JTPA evaluation, technology competence, and effective advisory committees in technical colleges. Also included in each report are summaries of the following SCTVE's activities designed to foster the exchange of ideas among the various stakeholders in vocational education: council roundtable, annual joint meeting of the council with the Minnesota State Board of Technical Colleges and State Board of Education, leadership forum, town meeting, and communique. Both reports list recipients of four SCVTE awards since 1985, the SCTVE's membership rosters (for the years 1989-1991 and 1991-1993), SCTVE responsibilities, and former councilors and council publications.
