AbstractThese two evaluation updates cover segments of the third phase of the Apprenticeship Training Materials Clearinghouse project, which is being conducted at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. The first update evaluates activities related to the following project objectives: conduct a field test on clearinghouse services; revise the model according to the evaluations for the field sites; develop mailing lists of institutions, private firms, and organizations that are potential users of apprenticeship materials; develop an information package for dissemination; establish a computerized database; and continue to update and expand the materials resource bank for quality improvement. Information about ONTERIS (the Ontario Education Resources Information System) and database including clearinghouse thesaurus terms pertaining to material type, vendor type, and geographic location is appended. The second update includes evaluations of additional project activities conducted in relation to the objectives discussed in the first update. Appended to the second update are clearinghouse support letters, a related newspaper article, and apprenticeship clearinghouse database printout examples. (MN)
