Abstract	The three papers in this publication analyze a newspaper article on "economic politics," or more specifically, the devaluing of the Danish kroner. The papers all examine some linguistic or structural feature of the language used in writing the article. Specific focus is on relevance theory and relevance in the article, the use of text analysis in looking at relevance, the function of the language used in the article, and the intention of the writing (e.g., how the writing of the article is used to shape the opinions of readers).
