| Abstract | This publication compiles the trends in environmental education within the Danish education system, comprising primary and secondary schools vocational training, and adult education for the period since the convening of the 1977 international intergovernmental conference in Tbilisi. Discussed are: (1) "Environmental Education in the Danish 'Folkeskole'" (including descriptions of the Danish educational system, examples of environmental education projects, and cooperation with other countries); (2) "Environmental Education in the 'Gymnasium' and the Higher Preparatory Course" (including teaching methods and coordination with traditional subjects); (3) "Environmental Education Within Vocational Training"; and (4) "Environmental Education in Elective Adult Training" (including leisure time education, production schools, and boarding schools).
