Abstract	Medicine and the concept of good health has a rich history from Hippocrates to the present. People have relied on herbs, magic, and many folk cures in the past, and only in the last few centuries have people understood the sciences of health including physiology, medicine, chemistry and many other associated sciences. The discussion in this booklet considers time, space, and spirit. Time refers to a sense of history; space refers to geography; and spirit refers to life and thought. Several chapters on the history and concepts of health, a time line related to the concepts, a map of the important geography of these concepts, a glossary of important terms, and a list of several study suggestions are included.
