Abstract	The seven papers in this collection describe parliamentary library services and activities in both developed and developing countries: (1) "The Electronic Catalogue of the Library of the Deutscher Bundestag" (Ernst Kohl, West Germany); (2) "Library of the Assembly of the Republic: Modernization Efforts" (A. Cabral, Portugal); (3) "Los Servicios Documentales del Congreso de los Diputados y las Medidas Recientemente Adoptadas para su Modernizacion = The Documentary Services of the Congress of Deputies in Spain and the Steps It Has Recently Taken To Modernize" (Alicia Martin Gonzalez, Spain); (4) "La Biblioteca y Otros Servicios de Documentacion del Senado: Modernizacion de las Tecnicas = The Library and Other Documentation Services in the Spanish Senate: Modernization of Traditional Methods" (Isabel Gonzalez del Campo, Spain); (5) "Third World Parliaments and Their Libraries" (Jane Ann Lindley, United States); (6) "Muted Triumphs and Minor Tragedies: The Parliamentary Library in Australia's New Parliament House" (Jan McDonald, Australia); and (7) "The Parliamentary Library of Catalunya" (Vinyet Panyella, Spain). Two of the papers are in Spanish with English translations. (CGD)
