| Abstract | The collective bargaining agreement between Wayne State University and the Wayne State University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors covering the period August 1, 1986-July 31, 1988 is presented. Items covered in the agreement include: personnel classification, union rights and privileges, administration rights, deduction of union dues and fees, no strike/lockout clause, layoff and recall procedures, salary adjustments and schedules, medical and dental insurance, long-term disability income insurance, life insurance, voluntary early retirement, special retirement incentives, professional leaves, vacations and holidays, paid and unpaid leaves of absence, maternity leaves, fractional-time employees, administration-union meetings, grievance procedure, term appointments, tenure procedures, promotion procedures, review of professional duties, personnel files, research and professional development grants and programs, tuition assistance program, student evaluation of faculty teaching, committees, equal opportunity data, and spring-summer assignments.
