| Abstract | Florida Keys Community College (FKCC) undertook a project to expand and improve job placement services to increase the overall placement rate for Associate of Science program graduates. The size, minimal available resources, and isolated location of FKCC contributed to its graduates' difficulties with job search. Objectives were accomplished through: (1) the production and distribution of a brochure for employers that promoted the hiring of FKCC's vocational technical graduates and disseminated information regarding graduates' skills, (2) offering of an employability skills course, (3) a job fair, and (4) increased communication with advisors and counselors regarding nontraditional students. The employer brochure, job fair, and increased communication were successful. The employability skills course was not well received by the study body.
