Abstract | Designed for use by parents of preschoolers participating in the Bringing Out Head Start Talents (BOHST) project, nine booklets present home activities intended to fit into the parent's and child's normal routines. Each booklet addresses a separate talent area: intellectual, creativity, leadership, art, music, reading, math, science, and psychomotor talents. An introduction describes the meaning of the particular talent and how the parent can help develop it, followed by six specific activities and concluding with three sections which list ways to make the most of the child's talent, places to go to spark the child's interest, and questions to ask that focus on the particular event.
