Abstract	Written in Spanish, the guide comprises the sixth grade unit of a career education curriculum for migrant students. The unit covers 10 marine science, business, and office occupations: hydrographer, marine biologist, fish hatchery technician, boat builder, commercial diver, clerical worker, actuary, cashier, assistant bank manager, and computer operator. An introduction to each job contains vocabulary words pertaining to the job plus instructions for conducting the lessons. Student workbook pages contain language arts and mathematics activities designed to provide information about the 10 jobs as well as to reinforce vocabulary, outlining, charting, graphing, spelling, logical validity, writing, and classifying. A pre- and post-assessment with student test leaflet, teacher guide, and answer sheet utilizes matching and multiple choice questions to measure the extent to which students understand the tools needed and the work performed in the 10 jobs.
