Abstract | The change process as it affects program implementation is the topic of this paper, which presents an overview of current knowledge about this process, discusses the methodology appropriate to future research on and evaluations of program implementation, and considers several areas in which new knowledge must be developed if the success of future change efforts is to be enhanced. These issues are treated in terms of the implementation of Follow Through programs, a process that has been going on for 13 years and that new research and development activities are aimed at improving and continuing. The research on which the authors' discussion is based followed the Concerns-Based Adoption Model, which they describe in the report. (PGD) |
