AbstractAs one in a series of test item collections developed by the Assessment and Evaluation Unit of the Directorate of Studies, items of value from past tests are made available to teachers for the construction of unit tests, term examinations or as a basis for class discussion. Each collection was reviewed for content validity and reliability. The test items meet syllabus content and aims best suited to multiple choice questions, but teachers are meant to base the use of the test items on student ability and the particular program objectives. French and Indonesian sections comprise the first volume of language test items. For each language, background items are presented in English and the subject language. Language structure, vocabulary and comprehension items are included. The test item level is grade 10. The answer key on each page is to be separated when constructing a test. Many items are illustrated by drawings, maps and sign examples. (CM)
