Abstract | This student module on electrical power transmission and distribution safety is one of 50 modules concerned with job safety and health. This module focuses on some of the general safety rules, techniques, and procedures that are essential in establishing a safe environment for the electrical power transmission worker. Following the introduction, nine objectives (each keyed to a page in the text) the student is expected to accomplish are listed (e.g., Outline the proper safety steps for erecting power transmission lines). Then each objective is taught in detail, sometimes accompanied by illustrations. Learning activities are included. A list of references and answers to learning activities complete the module. (CT) |
