| Abstract | This annotated bibliography provides a listing of 146 films, videotapes, filmstrips, slides, audiotapes, records, and kits that can be used with audiences of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in museum history, projects, and services. Its contents range from discussions on works of art to an examination of zoological collections. Each entry provides the title, format, media characteristics, guide or written material if available, producer or distributor, date of issue, item number, and grade level or target audience. Evaluative comments accompany previewed entries. Prior to the bibliographic entries is a brief section which discusses sources for locating nonprint material. It covers media both produced by and about museums, and touches upon places where software, hardware, and media services can be purchased. (Author/MER) |
