Abstract | The booklet, a contribution to the International Year of the Child, is intended to help parents enhance the development and education of their blind preschoolers. Parent-child interaction games to promote manual dexterity and sense of touch, listening skills and social communication, mobility, comprehension of the physical environment, artistic creativity, and independence are explained and illustrated with numerous photographs. The text is presented in English, French, German, and Russian. Chapters have the following titles and authors: "Importance of Playing for the Development of the Blind Child" (F.
