| Abstract | This volume is made up of 20 lessons and is part of a comprehensive course in intermediate Nepali. It explains and illustrates the basic structures of Nepali grammar through lessons which include different tense forms, postpositions, conditionals, comparatives, and other structural elements. The first lesson is devoted specifically to guiding students in the writing and pronunciation of the language; the subsequent lessons are ordered in terms of increasing grammatical complexity. Each lesson is accompanied by pattern drills and exercises for intensive practice both in and out of the classroom. A chart of verb paradigms is provided at the end of the volume. (Author/AMH) |
