| Abstract | This annual report describes, in English and Spanish, District 3's individual school and multiple school program activities undertaken in the 1977-78 school year. The accomplishments of more than twenty elementary and intermediate/junior high schools are highlighted. Among the programs described are: the New York State Experimental Prekindergarten Program; a Spanish/English, French/English bilingual program (this program is also described in French); the Reading Clinic; two programs funded under the Emergency School Aid Act; a cooperative science program with New York University Medical School; an instructional media center; a drug prevention program; continuing education; Growth through Art and Museum Experience (G.A.M.E.); the Lincoln Program; a Title I program, "Learning to Read through the Arts"; the Wadleigh "ABC" Scholarship Program; the Rheedlen Program; the Community Service Soclety Direction Service; Reading-Out-of-School; the Learning Center; the Goddard-Riverside Program; the Open Corridor Program; and the P.S. 113 Lincoln-Eliot Photo Exchange Program.
