Abstract | During a two-year period, 1979-80, the National Congress on Church-Related Colleges and Universities operated as a cooperative effort of 23 denominations to examine the issues facing their institutions of higher education. The significant papers and a record of events appear in this and three other volumes. This volume contains information of two kinds: first, an extensive bibliography of recent books and published articles about church-related higher education, and second, a bibliography of materials available through denominations and church-related colleges. In each bibliography materials are divided into 18 subject sections: nature and mission; future; governance; sponsoring religious body; college/university-church relations; administration/management; institutional research and planning; faculty; Christian community on campus; Christian formation/campus ministry; students; academic freedom; curricula/academic programs (content and methodology); relations (general, laws, regulations, and court decisions); relations/service to specific groups; new organizational directions; alumni; and history.
