| Abstract | This document discusses the development and implementation of a multiservice center that could offer a variety of human social services in a single location. The paper focuses on seven components of the center's operation: governance, organizational structure, core services, joint funding, joint planning, joint programming, and evaluation. The problem of service integration in a four-town area of Massachusetts was studied via questionnaires sent to member agencies of the strategy planning team. Results indicated the agencies were committed to the proposed multiservice center. A detailed evaluation and synthesis of the survey is provided in conjunction with socio-demographic data and a resource inventory. A final chapter discusses issues of implementation. (Author/LD) |
