| Abstract | This guide in Spanish for the foreign language teacher suggests that more emphasis be placed on theater and art in the second language classroom. Easy methods for creating functional and attractive visual aids for the classroom are described. This guide for elementary school teachers describes: (1) easy theatrical techniques that can be used daily in the classroom, (2) puppets that can be used to present dialogs, and (3) sketches used to illustrate vocabulary items. The first chapter describes visual aids in the foreign language classroom and how to make them. The second chapter discussed how to apply theatrical techniques to the foreign language classroom, and the third chapter tells how puppets can be used in the classroom. (NCR) |
