Abstract	A total of 263 research, innovative, and experimental projects are described that are concerned with postsecondary education in Canada and that are currently in progress or have been completed in the course of 1978. The information was obtained from a questionnaire mailed to some 1900 potential contributors in universities, community colleges, educational organizations and government departments. The projects are entered in the language in which they were reported, either French or English. They are grouped in six categories. The categories of research are: general; administration, finance, and manpower; curriculum and teaching; academic and nonacademic staff; students; and extension and continuing education. Each project is presented in the following format: (a) title; (b) brief description; (c) (estimated) date of completion; (d) researchers' name and address; (e) source of further details if other than the researchers mentioned above; (f) publication arising from the project: title, where published or available, etc. Universities where the researchers are located are indicated by name only; their addresses are listed at the back of the book. This Inventory does not replace preceding ones; previously published projects have been re-entered only in case substantial changes were reported. (Author/MSE)
