Abstract | An explanation of and guide to the resource document, "Un niveau-seuil" (A Threshold Level), is presented here. A brief presentation is made of the history of the project that produced the document, the operative definitions and concepts, and the contents of the sections of "Un niveau-seuil." Following the introductory materials, suggestions for use of the document are given under three headings: preparation, evaluation and analysis. Each of these aspects of the program is discussed in relation to the role of potential users of the document, namely, persons responsible for organizing language programs, persons who devise courses, and instructors. Examples are given in each case to indicate some of the ways in which the document might be used. A short bibliography is attached. (AMH) |
