Abstract | This publication presents the activities pertaining to the sixth goal of this activity guide series. The activities in this publication relate principally to the more advanced technologies and the implications of their development. These materials are appropriate for middle school and junior high school students. These activities, organized by objective under the concepts listed, are interdisciplinary. The activities are simply ideas of things students can do to help them understand the concepts. It remains for the teacher to use these ideas as desired. Activities range from preparing and delivering an energy briefing to the class using the style of Walter Cronkite and information collected from the news media to listing the various kinds of educational requirements needed to pursue a career in technology.
