| Abstract | Reports the results of a feasibility study concerned with the development of a computing laboratory which unified the concepts of analog and digital computing in information and computer science. Contents of the report include a project overview and definition of syndetic computation, the state of the art, some typical student projects, an introductory laboratory manual for a course in syndetic computation, the results of a survey of data processors, an outline of a proposed facility for syndetic computation, and a proposal to the National Science Foundation.
