Abstract | A brief overview is given of the State University of Nebraska's second offering of the multimedia course, Accounting I, in March 1975. Document HE 010 419 provides a description of the course and its components. The present report includes: (1) details relating to the second offering; (2) a profile of enrollees; (3) enrollee achievement; (4) enrollee evaluations of the course; and (5) an analysis of the effect of data obtained in the second offering on the conclusions and recommendations made after the first offering. Where pertinent, comparisons are made with other findings on the first offering. The findings in the second offering generally agreed with earlier ones, although the completion rate is lower for the second offering. As before, the enrollees tend to be critical of course components having less content and more noninstructional material than others. (Author/MSE) |
