Abstract | The success of Oakland University's Summer Support Program is analyzed and results are presented in 15 tables. Data presented include: number of graduates from Oakland as compared with number of entries; the amount of movement from one major to another; length of time Summer School Students (SSS) stay enrolled at Oakland; total credits accumulated by geographical areas; the relationship between year of entry and last year enrolled and the number of graduates by groups and sex; first-term averages of men and women; cumulative averages of men and women; credit-taking tendencies of students and graduates for each year; relationship between the year the student received the degree and the number of years it took to get that degree; the dropout/transfer percentages; relationship between total cumulative credits of SSS and number of years enrolled at Oakland; correlations between cumulative credits and the year of entry; relationship between term to graduate after grades are in and year of entry; correlation of the year of entry, year degree awarded and sex against residence, entry major, and last major; and a partial correlation controlling for differences between the cumulative number of credits earned, the difference between the term credits attempted minus those earned, and the number of years education was pursued at Oakland University.
