Abstract | On July 1, 1974, Camden County College was awarded a grant by the Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education for the purpose of developing an individualized instruction system for implementation across Camden County College. This system would allow students to proceed at their own rate through courses of study and eventually entire degree programs. In working toward these goals, a number of experts in the field were invited to advise Professor Giordano, the college's director, on planning and implementing individualized instruction systems. Dialogues between Professor Giordano and the following consultants are reported: Dr. Robert Toft, Dr. Kim Porter, Dr. Lee Harrisberger, Dr. Donald Tosti, Dr. Richard Heydinger, Dr. James O. Hammons, Dr. J. Gilmour Sherman, Dr. John Gallagher, and Dr. Robert N. Hurst. The data compiled in this report were fragmented into their component parts and utilized in the preparation of the first report on the project. (VT) |
