Abstract | This article discusses two research projects dealing with the acculturation of immigrants in France. The first project involves facilitating Portuguese immigrants' adaptation to French society by improving their linguistic skills, especially in terms of communicative competence (oral and written comprehension and production). The second project consists of an analysis of methods of literacy education for immigrants and their children. (Author/AM) |
