AbstractThe Education Evaluation and Planning Package provides a performance statement check list approach to the comprehensive educational evaluation required by Massachusetts law for special education students. The vocational area of this package is intended to be used to assess various skills necessary to hold a job. There are four components of this area: (1) The Vocational Screening Assessment, which provides an overview of skills listed and an opportunity to determine the vocational sub-areas which require in-depth evaluation, (2) the Vocational Performance Statements, which allow an extensive evaluation of specific vocational performance, (3) the Next Step Suggestions, which facilitate task sequencing and complimentary activity selection, and which include a task analysis chart, skill cluster chart and three lists of prerequisite program skills, and (4) the Objectives Worksheet, which aids in the translation of performance statements into behavioral objectives.
