Abstract | The study was an evaluation of the planning processes and the products of a curriculum engineering system in a school district. The primary objective was to determine the relationship between the quality of group planning effort exerted by curriculum committees and the quality of curriculum products produced by them. A systems analysis model was constructed in order to provide a theoretical framework for determining the multiple effects of selected group process variables upon the three group product variables of written curriculum products, changed teacher attitudes, and member satisfaction. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods were employed in the study. (Author) |
