| Abstract | To facilitate the dissemination of ideas and practices developed by the Improving Teaching Competencies Program (ITCP) of the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory, a working unit was assigned the task of developing a conceptual model and a set of strategies for the diffusion of ITCP products. This report describing the dissemination model consists of three main sections: (1) a history of ITCP and a rationale for dissemination activities; (2) a review of the current knowledge of the change process in schools; and (3) recommended strategies for future dissemination activities.
