| Abstract | Chapter 12 of the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules has been revised to provide rules for works in the principal audiovisual media (motion pictures, filmstrips, videorecordings, slides, and transparencies) as well as instructional aids (charts, dioramas, flash cards, games, kits, microscope slides, models, and realia). The rules for main and added entries as well as those applying to the descriptive portion of the catalog entry are described. A table summarizing provisions for physical description, cataloging examples, and a glossary of audiovisual terms are included. (NR) |
