| Abstract | This document is designed to provide assistance to those students seeking information on colleges and universities that offer law enforcement and criminal justice degree programs. For this 1975-76 directory, questionnaires were mailed to every college and university in the United States and to those colleges and universities known to be offering criminal justice degree programs in Canada. The completed questionnaires indicate that there are 664 institutions offering 729 associate, 376 baccalaureate, 121 masters, and 19 doctoral degrees in the areas of law enforcement and criminal justice. In contrast, there were 40 associate and 15 baccalaureate and graduate degree programs available in this nation in 1960. The directory covers: (1) number of law enforcement and criminal justice degree programs available: (2) associate degree programs; (3) baccalaureate and graduate degree programs; (4) police officer enrollment data; (5) program listings by state; (6) program listings by colleges and universities; (7) the Law Enforcement Education Program (LEEP), which provides financial support for the college education of police, courts, corrections and other law enforcement and criminal justice practitioners; and (8) additional International Association of Chiefs of Police publications.
