Abstract	The Applications Technology Satellite-6 (ATS-6) pilot study being conducted by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) includes 20 experiments in the use of satellites for educational delivery systems in rural areas and for scientific and technological information dissemination. Initial usage of the system has been in North America for health care and teacher education. Subsequent experiments will be undertaken in other parts of the world including India and the Galapagos Island. Diagrams and photographs of various aspects of the AST-6 project are provided, together with a summary of the prior satellites in the AST series. (DGC)
