Some of the topics discussed are censorship in other states, censorship in the elementary school, rational censorship, racism and censorship, the North Dakota book-burning incident, student rights in high school journalism, a publisher's attitudes toward censorship, film censorship, the role of the school board in protecting students' and schools' rights, the role of students in fighting censorship, and the history of censorship.
