Abstract	In its second phase this project continued the development of demonstration models of library projects and activities for the elderly at sites in Hazard, Somerset, Lexington, and Louisville, Kentucky. Accomplished were the completion of the site profiles; administration of the Survey of Leisure Time activities and transformation of the data to the computer for analysis; development of a Users Potential Index; a site-by-site analysis of the statistical data from the survey; and, using the socioeconomic demographic data together with data from computer printouts, the initiation of demonstration programs at each site. Positive response was received from all site librarians, participating groups, and the Kentucky State Library. The libraries planned to continue the model projects. Replication of the project nationwide was recommended. (Author/PF)
