Abstract	Aimed at teaching young men some of the skills they will need in "home management" whether they live as bachelors or husbands, the course is intended for use at the junior high or senior high grade level. The curriculum guide is offered as a planning and teaching aid. Supporting concepts, objectives, and student performance objectives are stated for each unit, and the material is presented in outline form and organized according to content and generalizations, teaching strategies, learning, evaluating experiences, and corresponding resources. Some of the topics treated in the course are: social development, family, career development, clothing selection, nutrition, management for food preparation, child development, the role of the consumer, banking, credit, financial security, and the responsibilities of and factors influencing home selection and management. Suggested resource materials are varied and conveniently correlated to the topic being taught. Classroom materials include games, self-evaluation checklists, overhead transparencies, case studies, sample tests and forms, puzzles, and a play script. A list of books, booklets and pamphlets, case studies, charts, films, filmstrips, kits, periodicals, posters, slides, teaching guides and units, and transparency masters is offered.
