| Abstract | The first of three volumes of appendixes to the final technical report of the Great Lakes Region Special Education Instructional Materials Center (GLR SEIMC) contains materials related to the Introduction (Appendix A) and the chapter on field services (Appendix B) of the final report. Contained in Appendix A are the subcontracts of the GLR SEIMC with Ohio and Indiana state departments, organization charts of the GLR SEIMC, vitae of the staff of the GLR SEIMC, and job descriptions of the positions in the GLR SEIMC. Provided in Appendix B are a proposal to establish field consultant services and a resume of a field consultants' conference; summaries of the field service coordinator's recent activities; state plans to develop instructional materials centers; a Title II intermediate school district instructional materials center plan; materials from a training conference for Title II instructional materials specialities; a report on the evaluation of a SEIMC visiting day; a model for regional conferences on the use of instructional media and a sample program from a conference; a list of publications of the GLR SEIMC and sample documents; the Idea series--introductory letters, sample cards, and a response; samples of brochures, newsletters, and other similar publications of the GLR SEIMC; and materials from the information retrieval system.
