| Abstract | Documentation of the Coursewriter II Function FCALC is provided. The function is designed for use on the IBM 1500 instructional system and has three major applications: 1) comparison of a numeric expression in buffer 5 with a numeric expression in buffer 0; 2) comparison of an algebraic expression in buffer 5 with an algebraic expression in buffer 0; and 3) evaluation of a numeric expression in buffer 0 with return of a numeric value to buffer 0 in scientific notation display cards. The report includes a user's guide which discusses usage rules and the application of the function, an installation guide to assist programers in installing the function, and a program logic section which outlines the purposes of the function's routines and subroutines. Program modification notes and an appendix containing a source listing of the entire function are also included. (Author/PB) |
