Abstract | The quality of on-the-job intercommunication tends to determine the satisfaction employees feel in their jobs. Communication satisfaction was tested experimentally among 130 management-level personnel in a wide range of fields. Results of the survey questionnaire were factor analyzed, item analyzed, and "formula analyzed." Factor analysis showed that "communication climate" and "communication with superiors" are of the utmost importance to job holders. Other analyses demonstrated the validity of the research procedure. Overall results showed that organizational communication and job satisfaction are related and that communication satisfaction in organizations is a "multi-dimensional construct." (CH) |
