| Abstract | This textbook, the fifth in a series of six, is designed to give the advanced elementary school student continued practice in reading Spanish. It contains some 30 sections with passages of increasing degrees of difficulty. Illustrations are included. At this level the maintenance of a central plot is considered unnecessary. The central narrative is varied by a selection of excerpts from Cervantes, Twain, Kipling, Juan Ramon Jimenez, and Saint-Exupery. Other authors included are I.M.
