| Abstract | This report presents comparison data on the United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS) graduates in the class of 1973 and the entire class. The data were obtained from the annual survey of entering freshmen college students by the American Council on Education. Tables in this report present data of five categories: (1) all cadets in the class of 1973, (2) male freshmen at all 4-year colleges, (3) USMAPS graduates in the class of 1973 without prior college, (4) USMAPS graduates in the class of 1973 with prior college, and (5) all cadets in the class of 1973 with prior college. This comparison of USMA Preparatory School graduates with other USMA cadets and with other college freshmen reveals that the characteristics of USMAPS graduates tend to fall between those of other USMA cadets and those of freshmen at other colleges.
