Abstract	The material in this pamphlet, compiled by the Institute of International Studies, is based on requests for information by students and teachers concerning research, study, travel, and work abroad. Two major sections are provided. The first treats United States government-sponsored opportunities and includes: (1) lecturing and advanced research awards, (2) faculty research awards, (3) doctoral dissertation fellowships, (4) graduate fellowships, (5) loans for overseas study, (6) teacher exchange, (7) summer seminars abroad, and (8) teaching abroad in American schools. The second section deals with non-government sources of information from: (1) the Institute of International Education, (2) the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), (3) the European Student Travel Center-Student Overseas Flights for Americans (SOFA), (4) the British Universities Student Travel Association, (5) the German Student Travel Service, (6) the Office du Tourisme Universitaire, and (7) the Tourisme des Etudiants et de la Jeunesse (Belgium).
