Abstract	This quinmester course of study for grades 7 through 12 examines the nature and causes of prejudice in a psychological, sociological, and biological frame of reference. Emphasis is upon discovering the patterns of prejudice and discrimination. Activity units require the students to investigate prejudice by inquiring affectively and cognitively into the problem. Eight units are: 1) Prejudice, requiring students to define and give examples; 2) and 3) Nature and the Causes of Prejudice; 4) Effects of Prejudice Politically, Socially, and Economically; 5) Role of Society; 6) Role of Mass Media; 7) Role of Private and Government Institutions and Agencies; and, 8) Role of the Individual.
