Abstract | A self-instructional system is presented designed to teach high school students fundamental concepts of electricity and how they are applied in daily life. In six lessons, the student attends to a self-paced slide and tape presentation and makes written responses in the workbooks. A supplementary application problem, requiring the assembly of some electrical equipment, is provided upon completion of the lessons. The pretest and four post-tests, used for the student's self-evaluation, is included here, as are studies of the system's field tests. Those studies indicate that the system is effective in teaching the desired concepts and that it was liked by both students and teachers. (The programed material is not included in this booklet.)
