Abstract | The purpose of this independent monthly newsletter is to report what universities, non-governmental organizations, governmental agencies, the United Nations, religious groups, and concerned individuals do and think about peace and the development of enforceable world law. Main articles in this issue are on the following: 1) pollution as a worldwide problem; 2) China policy; 3) comments by Margaret Mead on peace and world politics; 4) activities of the American Field Service International Scholarships program; 5) United Nations and world population control; and, 6) a report on the World Order Committee of the Foreign Relations Task Force, White House Conference on Youth, held April 18-22 at Estes Park, Colorado. Correspondence from readers is regularly included, as well as news of the United Nations and notices of other international organization's activities.
