Abstract | GRADES OR AGES: K-8. SUBJECT MATTER: Physical education. ORGANIZATION AND PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: The guide is divided into two parts, one each for grades K-4 and 5-8, each with the same format. The guide is xeroxed and spiral bound with a paper cover. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES: General objectives for physical education are developed in the introduction. In addition, there is an extensive list of objectives for each grade level, which includes both concepts and skills. A general structure of activities for each grade level is developed from a list of typical characteristics of children at each grade level. Charts suggest time allotments for each type of activity at each grade level and present an ideal plan for organizing the year's activity at each grade level. INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: No mention.
